It's a.............................

BOY! That's right! Hayden is going to have a little brother.

Here is a profile shot of Hayden's new little brother. We haven't decided on names yet, but have a lot to choose from!

Here is a pic of me at 20 weeks pregnant with my lil guy. Hayden and his daddy were so excited about the news of a boy baby. Go team BLUE!!!!

Here is how we told our family:
I made blue and pink cupcakes. Everyone came over and choose what they thought we were going to have. If they thought boy (MiMi, Paw Paw, & Grandma Laurie thought blue) they picked a blue cup cake. If they thought girl (Aunt Katie, Nana, Grandmom, Tikki, and Tiffany) then they chose a pink cupcake.
It was all caught on video and very cute. We are very excited to be having a little brother around here. I can't wait to dress him up in all of Hayden's old clothes. We also found out that Hayden and his little brother will get a new boy cousin in January :)

Yogi & Boo Boo at Jellystone Park

We headed to Robert, Louisiana with my family for the weekend. We stayed at Jellystone Park with Yogi Bear and Boo Boo! Hayden had a blast. We went paddle boating, swimming (down a little water slide), painted ceramics- and Hay Hay the Bad!, tie dyed t-shirts, fed ducks (and chased them, too), rode on golf carts, ate big breakfasts, listened to swamp pop bands, ate snowballs, had a marshmallow roast, and all out had a good time! Then we headed a couple of miles down the road to the Global Wildlife Center. We fed giraffes, deer, bison, lamas, and all sorts of other creatures. We will have to go back soon!
Until our next adventure~ (we are going to see Chris Shivers this weekend),

Baton Rouge Zoo Visit

With Brett on vacation this week, we decided to take a couple of trips. We headed out to the Baton Rouge Zoo. When we arrived, we hopped on the train. Hayden was NOT impressed by the train ride. He didn't know why we had to go on a train ride through the woods and see hardly any animals. (We only saw a couple of ducks) Next time we go to this zoo we may take the train that goes inside the zoo instead of outside!

We found a pond with a bunch of fish and turtles. We fed them some food. Then the ducks came up and stole all the food! LOL Hayden didn't mind looking at these animals.

We watched an Elephant show! It was very neat. Hayden needed a boost on Daddy's shoulders to see the elephants do tricks. I hadn't seen an elephant show in a long time. This was one of the highlights!

To finish off the HOT day, Hayden enjoyed a blue bubblegum snowball. He loved it. It was a nice cooldown for him, too.

Aquarium Visit!

We went to the Aquarium this week while Brett was on vacation. Hayden loved it. He has really been into fish lately. As soon as we walked in, he started saying, "fish, fish". It was so cute. Mi Mi, Nana, and Tikki came along for the ride. I can't wait to go back with cousin Speedy Rotten!

Taking a photo at a photo spot in the play area.

Hayden and Brett petting the sting rays. They felt so cool!

Mommy & Hayden with the sea horse. *** You can also kindof see Hayden's new sibling - the baby bump- in this photo. He will become a big brother around February 1, 2010***

Our family photo in the shark teeth. Hayden really didn't want to take this pic. He was getting tired from running around. Either that or he just wanted to go look at more fish!

Checking out the sharks. He loved them, until Tikki said they BITE!!!!

Both Grandma's - Mi Mi and Nana with Hayden

We had such a great time! Can't wait until our next adventure!!!!

Boat Trip Summer '09

We headed to the camp for the 4th of July! Hayden had his first boatride - well one with a lifejacket on. We rode boats in Disney World and of course on the cruise! He had a lot of fun. He wanted to get right back in when it was time to leave. He is getting so big.

Here we are on the deck before we left to go out. I didn't know how he was going to do! He didn't fall out and he stayed pretty still in the seat. Such a big boy.

We had a slip in slide day at Nana's a couple of weeks back. Hayden basically thought it was a sprinkler and ran across it! It was cute. The cutest thing was that his swimsuit kept falling down and his little booty was showing! LOL

Another Swim Day!

We went swimming with my two cousins, Sydney and Sarah at my great Uncle's pool. Hayden had so much fun. At times he would rather play right on the outside of the pool where the water would splash over. I bought him one of those swimsuits with the floatation device built in. It was okay, and he didn't seem to mind it too much. I also bought floaties, but they were defective! He loved jumping in the pool and watching others jump in as well.

Here is where we got our first taste of pool time for summer. We went to Sydney's 9th birthday party! First Hayden had some fun with bubbles and his cousin Natalie. He was trying to catch him as best he could. Some of them got away and disappeared on him! Then we went and got into the pool. He loved it. It was shallow enough for him to run around. And he ran around! He loved jumping in. We just put our feet up and relaxed (yeah right!). It was a lot of fun though.
Until next time,

Swim Time

We had a swim day in the back yard. Hayden had so much fun. He was a bit scared to go down the slide into the pool at first, but he got the hang of it!
