Pet time Rhett says, "MOM, WHat's that?"

Hayden and Rhett... What can I say? Hayden goes after Rhett all the time. He loves to go and pet him. He can't hurt him because he is so big. You should see Rhett when Hayden starts going after his food. Rhett throws a fit. Oh when Hayden starts digging in Rhett's toy box.... Rhett hates that. I can't wait to see Hayden running in the back yard with Rhett in a couple of years.

Playdate with cousin Speed Jared

Hayden's cousin Speed came to play at our house on Tuesday. At first Hayden wanted to climb on top of Speed. Then he checked on him to make sure he was okay. Then they decided to go stand up and play. Even though Speed in two months younger than Hayden, he is much bigger. I think they will become best buddies and Hayden will not be the one climbing on Speed much longer. I believe it will be the other way around very soon. They didn't get to play very long, however they seemed to have a great time anyway.

Madd Maddox

Lately Hayden has been quite a handful. I think it is because he can get into so many things! I remember when he used to cry when I left the room to answer the telephone. Now the phone rings and he goes crawling looking for it. And don't even think you can call this house without talking to Hayden. He loves to talk on the phone. He will throw a fit if you don't talk to him.

The other day we had to go to the doctor due to Hayden's head fall. He hit his head and it was swollen up so big, it scared me. He is fine eventhough he has a bruise.

So we are finally attempting to put Hayden in his own bed at night. Not working out quite the way I had imagined it though. He cries so hard! He does like to go in his bed during the day and just play. It is near his mirror, so he will go and look at himself.

Hayden's new obbsession: Dog Toys! Yes, out of all the many many toys he has, he chooses to play with Rhett's toys. He goes into Rhett's toy box and pulls out all of his toys. Rhett just looks at him.

Swinging and blowing bubbles in the back yard

Today I took Hayden on the porch toblow bubbles with him and let him swing. He had a blast. He wasn't too sure about the bubbles at first. Then he decided he needed to eat the bubbles. I am not at all suprised by this. He LOVES to swing! He giggles every time I push the swing.

Calling all Officers!

Hayden decided he would play police man today. He hopped on his motorcycle and away he went. He was attempting to smile in one photo, but he is like his mommy and tends to close his eyes. Then he decided that he wanted to play tricks on the motorcycle (by standing on top of it), which didn't end too well :(). Rhett was right there with him! He then wanted to eat the motorcycle. He is such a silly baby boy. He had a good time though. I think much more time will be spent on his police man motorcycle.

Parrain Justin's Birthday

Last night we made a visit to Hayden's parrain for his birthday. We ate some delicious shrimp creole and watched the Saint's game. Hayden decided it would be fun to play hide and seek with all of the nuks we brought! I think I spent most of the night searching for them in the dinning room. All in all Hayden was extremely well behaved, as he moslty is. On Sunday we will either be attending a movie or going to play putt putt with the Doll's. We will see what happens then!

Okay this is my last post today! The other day Hayden and I were playing in the living room when the phone rang. I went to answer it and off Hayden went (to the dog's bowl)! He is such a little stinker. I had to let him play in it and of course I grabbed my camera. Here is the video clip from it.

Where we've been

This is my first post for Hayden and our family. Hayden was born 3 weeks early on December 4, 2007. He came out as a healthy baby boy. He is now 8 months old. Along the ride to 8 months he has been on three plane rides, one stretch limo, Disney World, met Santa, bonked his head, played in the sand where his mommy and daddy were married, and been to the baseball field. I am sure he has done many other things as well. Hayden is the spitting image of his daddy, Brett, with the exception of his blue eyes. He loves to crawl around and get into everything! (i.e. dog food, computer wires, toilets, etc.) I can't wait to see what else he will be getting into!
