A Trip to the Park

On Friday, Brett and I took Hayden to the park. He loved going across the wooden bridge. Back and forth, back and forth. Then he wanted to run up and down the small hill (or ditch) that was in the park. Up and down, up and down. Finally I took him over to the swings and slides. He loves going down the slide! He thinks the baby swings are relaxing. He really likes to go on the big kid swings on his tummy. He thinks it's so funny. Once we were finished on the swings and slides, Hayden wanted to play in the sand for a little while. Then he got really thirsty and all he wanted to do was drink my coke! And he drank and drank. All in all, we had a good time at the park!

Mardi Gras Cleaning and Running Away Fast

Clean Up, Clean Up, Everybody Do Your Share!

With the weather getting nicer, it was time to get everything cleaned up outside. Brett mowed the yard and Hayden blew off all the pine needles. They wouldn't all go away, so he had to use the broom, too! Hayden worked so hard. Brett did, too! Gotta love living with some boys.

And a big HELLO to my next boy, Rhett. He is getting so big himself. While I was snapping shots of Hayden, Rhett started posing for the camera. If he wasn't brown, you'd think he was a pig! LOL. Hayden and Rhett get along so well. Well, except for one big thing. Rhett's tail is right at Hayden's head. Yep, that's right! Hayden gets slapped quite often. Poor Baby!

Mardi Gras Mambo! We didn't make it to any parades this year, unfortunately. I guess we will have to make plans for it next year. We celebrated with some big beads and dancing fun! Hayden is so cute when he dances. He spins in circles, shifts from side to side, and bounces. I love watching him dance.

So, I got the bunny ears on. I figured I would start getting the Easter pics a little early. Well...... Hayden wanted nothing to do with it. The ears were a little big and kept falling off and Hayden just wanted to go play with Rhett in the yard. Hayden runs everywhere!!!! He is getting tough to keep up with, especially when I am trying to snap photographs!

We are praying for baby Speed. He is in the hospital once again. This time he had the rotovirus and ?????????? that's right, we don't have a clue. We are hoping to find out soon. Please pray for cousin Speed Jared so that he can come over and play!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!
Just thought we would wish everyone a happy day because we love you! Hayden made the cutest Valentine's. He colored them all by himself. I wish I would have taken a picture. He has been playing so hard lately. He has managed to get a little cold. He has been coughing all night long and having a runny nose. YUCK! With all the playing a feeling icky he is pooped along with his daddy!

My First Haircut

So as you can see, my little boy is growing up! We went to Snip-it's today and got his haircut. They were really great and we were the only ones there since it was 10 am on a Wednesday morning. It's a really cute place to go. First he gets to hold a special card, then watch cartoons and have his hair cut. Afterwards, he gets to eat animal crackers and give his hair to a special machine and get a toy! It was really adorable. He was soooooo good. He didn't pull away,cry or anything. He just sat there and let the lady cut his long locks off.

His hair looks so cute. When we were finished, I took him to Chick-fil-a to play at the playplace. We climbed all the way and the went on the slide. We will have to go there more often! He LOVED it!

Progreso & Cozumel Cruise

I mostly took pictures at the ancient Myan ruins because that's when I had my camera out. And they were AWESOME. The rest of the time, we were busy having a BLAST!!!!! Hayden had a good time while we were there. The bus ride there went smooth (he slept). The ride home....a different story. He screamed for about 2 hours (the length of the bus ride). The guide asked the everyone if they had a peaceful ride home and they said NO!!!. Poor people. Sorry :(

The cruise was awesome. Each night we ate at a restaurant and after 1 hour and 10 minutes of sitting each night, Hayden was DONE. He was ready to get out of the highchair. But when we got to the table each night, our waiter team had an order of chicken nuggets, fries, and a milk ready to go. They were awesome. We love you, Bernard. The staff was super friendly. They love babies so much. I would definitely love to go on another one.

Okay this picture was taken today! I was tutoring, and I let Hayden color. He decided that the marker might do a better job of coloring if he were holding it with his mouth. So he tried it. It did a great job. He looked like Joker! LOL. good thing they were nontoxic and washable! He is so much fun.

We are going to MEXICO!!!! (with or without the toilet paper)

I can always tell when Hayden is getting ready to get into something. He always glances over at me to see if I'm looking. LOL

Oh, yes that is a train of TP. He has discovered toilet paper and how much fun it is to bring it all over the house.

We are packing to go on our cruise to Mexico. Hayden is sitting in his suitcase waiting patiently for his clothes!

Hayden missed Rhett after we dropped him off at my grandmother's house. So he decided to play in his dog food. As you can see, it was everywhere!!!!

Last days of '08 @ the zoo

We had a great year! We ended it going to the zoo with Kristie, Speed, and Brooklyn. Can't wait to see what we are in for in 2009!
